In the course of its activities, MACBA makes different contents available to the users so they can make rational use of them and meet their information needs for cultural, educational, academic, scientific or similar purposes, which will on no account be exploited commercially, and without MACBA entering into any professional, mercantile or working relationship with the user, except in expressly agreed cases.
The website contains links and hyperlinks pointing to other web pages managed by third parties outside our organisation. MACBA does not guarantee the contents or information on these web pages or their accuracy and currency. Consequently, MACBA will not be held liable for any damages and loss derived from the use of web pages not belonging to our website.

6. User registration
MACBA provides all visitors to the website with a free registration account to access certain contents.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the data and password for accessing their account. They are also responsible for all uses of their account, whether or not authorised by them. Users must immediately notify MACBA of any unauthorised or improper use of their account by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating 'Possible usurpation of identity' as subject.
Users will also:
- warrant that the information provided to the website – particularly at registration – is truthful, accurate and correct, will be kept updated at all times and refers to their own person,
- consent to the receipt of emails from MACBA to the email address that has been provided in the registration process both to conclude electronic processes (for example notifying you of the password generated by default or those notices required by the law) or to send you information that may be of interest to you regarding the website itself, the services offered by MACBA or museum initiatives in which MACBA participates together with other cultural entities, and
- accept that MACBA can suspend or cancel the user's registered account, without justification, after having previously notified the email address associated with the account.
